My goal is to provide a safe space for my patients to experience, learn and understand ways to support their own health. We are living beings and are greatly influenced by our environment. I want to help people recognize that your optimal health is obtained by supporting all aspects including your diet, activity level, mental clarity, and overall lifestyle.
Through personal experience, I have realized the gap between disease and health. Often diagnosis is followed by minimal answers and confusion. By integrating Chinese medical theory with modern day research, I strive to provide my patients with tools to optimize their holistic approach to health.

Sarah Melenka
Sarah studied massage therapy and acupuncture at MacEwan University, and completed NAIT’s personal training program prior to this. During her time at NAIT, Sarah played for the Ooks volleyball team. In 2014, Sarah suffered from compartment syndrome in her right leg, underwent multiple surgeries and as a result has 30% muscle deficiency in her calve. This injury made her eligible to play on Canada’s women’s sitting volleyball team where she has travelled the world representing her country. Her journey with compartment syndrome and her subsequent experiences with alternative health practitioners lead her to pursuing a career in complementary health.
Holding a hybrid approach to her practice, Sarah integrates Eastern and Western Medicine during each session, as she keeps her roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has a passion for treating holistically.

Karlee Tymchuk
I was introduced to alternative medicine at a young age, as I faced many health challenges early in life. I quickly grew curious of the magic of Chinese Medicine and loved receiving acupuncture. These positive experiences with kind and compassionate practitioners guided me down the path of pursuing a similar career one day.
I earned both my Massage Therapy diploma and Acupuncture diploma from MacEwan University after 5 years of study. I tend to take a holistic approach and implement a variety of techniques when treating my patients.
My goal is to provide a safe and relaxing space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported during their healing journey.
